Employer-sponsored benefit plans impact millions of Americans, with the Employee Benefits Security Administration (“EBSA”) working hard to protect participants from crime and fraud within these plans.
PECA is excited to welcome the Department of Labor back for a new presentation on the EBSA’s criminal enforcement program. Christina Mobley will offer insight into crimes affecting employer-sponsored benefit plans, most common issues with case examples, and the EBSA’s criminal authority under ERISA. This presentation is sure to shed light on what to watch out for within employer-sponsored retirement plans and the EBSA’s process to help protect participants.
1 hour of CE Credit for ASPPA, NIPA, and other organizations will be provided. CE should be self-reported and certificate of attendance will be provided. ERPA credit has been applied for. Each attendee should register and log into the webinar individually and listen to the presentation to receive CE credit. Listening by phone or in a group will not qualify for CE credit.
