We invite you to our May PECA event to discuss current changes and other hot topics in employee benefit plan audits! This event will be in-person and held on May 17, 2022 from Noon to 1:40 pm at a new conference space located at 2200 Century Parkway where lunch will be provided. Our panel of EBP auditors will discuss the New EBP Audit Standard and its impact on plan audits being performed this year, provide real life examples of common audit issues, ideas for more efficient audits, how technology is being incorporated into the audit process, and more! These topics will be insightful for recordkeepers producing certified audit packages, TPAs assisting their clients through the audit process, auditors in the industry, and attorneys assisting their clients with compliance issues found during these audits.
Atlanta-based EBP Audit Partners, Candace Jackson, Moore Colson, and Anne Morris, Windham Brannon, will lead an interactive discussion on these topics. Both Candace and Anne serve on the Georgia Society of CPAs Employee Benefit Plan Conference task force, are frequent webinar speakers and blog authors on current audit topics, and lead their respective firm practice areas to produce high quality audit processes for a large number of plans annually.
The world of employee benefit plans is continually evolving and audit processes continue to be refined each year. Bring your questions and discuss plans, guidance and tools with local thought leaders!
